The International Cluster Computing Technology Symposium (abbreviated as IEEE Cluster) was held for the first time in 1999 in Melbourne, Australia. The annual IEEE Cluster has been held for 17 years. The number of people attending each time is about 150, which is the most important in the world cluster calculations. The organizer of this year’s National Tsinghua University focused on topics such as cluster system, system model design, model-driven technology, execution of proprietary language, embedded systems, parallel and decentralized processing, parallel programming languages, and network management and maintenance.

The annual IEEE Cluster event continues to open up breakthroughs in the development of cluster computing technology. It can be said to be the locomotive of the cluster computing technology research field, bringing together many domestic and foreign scholars, experts, and researchers to exchange cutting-edge innovations and sharing research experience. As well as future research prospects, not only the scale has been expanded year by year, but also the scope of research has expanded to include visual image processing, bioinformatics, big data, storage technology, human-computer interaction and its application. Each session of Taiwan has several representatives of advanced scholars attending this event. It is not easy for Taiwan to win the 2016 IEEE Cluster conference. It is expected that more than 150 participants will jointly participate in the event and publish papers. They are also scholars, experts, practitioners and students in relevant fields in the country participating in the international conference. Absorb new global knowledge and publish international academic papers. Sharing the research results together, I believe that I will write down a new history page for Taiwan’s cluster computing field on the international stage.
