The Scientific Symposium on Microscopy Science and Technology (FOM) was held in Germany for the first time in 1988. The FOM held every year has been held for 27 years. The number of participants each time is about 500, making it the most important international microscope in the world. academic conference. The organizer of this year’s conference is National Yangming University. The main themes of the conference include the principles and applications of three-dimensional optical imaging, three-dimensional image processing, resolution and image improvement, and the use of fluorescent labeling technology in confocal and multiphoton microscopy.

The annual FOM event continues to open up breakthroughs in the development of medical care for all of mankind. It can be said that it is the locomotive of the trend in the field of global microscopic technology. It brings together a large number of scholars, experts and researchers at home and abroad to exchange the most advanced innovative technologies and share research experience. As well as future research prospects, not only the scale has been expanded year by year, but also the scope of research has been extended to the continuation of biology, medicine, materials science and its applications. At each session, several advanced scholars from Taiwan have participated in this event. It is not easy for Taiwan to win the 2016 FOM Conference.
