The Federation of Master Tailors was founded in 1865 in Brussels, Belgium. Nearly half a century later, the Alliance Executive Committee was established in 1907. The founder of the league, Jaqu Frickx, was elected as the chairman of the association, and in 1910 he was committed to promoting the first At the “World Federation of Master Tailors” (WFMT) conference, 250 tailors from 15 countries participated in the first conference; at the conference, the participants unanimously adopted the world’s uniforms. The annual meeting of the industry alliance will be held regularly. The second annual meeting scheduled for 1912 was held in Munich, Germany. Since Germany was in a long-term labor dispute and the First World War, along with the world economic recession, the annual meeting was postponed to the Fourth World held in London, England in 1950. The annual conference of the Union of Chinese and Foreign Trade Associations has been held once every two years from time to time and a total of 36 member countries have sent a delegation to the General Assembly.

Taiwan’s suit industry showed strong intentions. This year it even defeated Japan and Turkey and successfully won the bid to host the 2017 World Federation of Wearable Union. He Lianghong, President of the World Federation of Garment and Clothing, and Chairman of the Taiwanese Federation of Suits and Trades, General Manager Chen Zhibiao, actively promoted the conference, cultivated more young talents, passed down the craftsmanship and inspired creativity, and the suit industry was an indispensable tradition in the people’s livelihood industry. With the evolution of the era, craftsmanship has also faced the crisis of craftsmanship and inheritance faults. It also requires the government and the industry to work together to maintain traditional innovation technologies. To help the domestic suit industry to become internationalized, the World Federation of Garment Industry can be held in Taiwan.
