The Wireless and Optical Communication Conference (WOCC) Symposium on Wireless and Optical Communication was held in 1992 by some Chinese who specialize in fiber optics and wireless communications in the United States, with the support of the American Chinese Association, and other organizations. The first session of the State of Jersey holds the hope of bringing together Chinese people’s energy in communication research abroad and providing a platform for technical exchanges. Initially organized as optical communication and wireless communication seminars, they were then merged into a wireless and optical communication seminar. At the beginning, invited lecturers mainly invited the elites of AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Qualcomm, GTE, Ericsson and other international communication service and equipment manufacturers. At the same time, they invited officials from the US FCC, Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation and other departments to discuss policies. At the level, as well as academic professors in the United States, Taiwan, and China, provide research results in communication theory. Through meticulous agenda planning, WOCC quickly became the most well-known communication seminar in the Chinese community. It was expanded every year and responded to the development of the communications industry by adding networking, multimedia, and the recent Big Data technology agenda. In 2004, it was hosted by Taipei (chairman of the conference was Professor Wei Zhehe, the then chairman of the National Science Council). Then he moved to Hangzhou in 2006 to form an international Chinese communication seminar held in the United States, Taiwan, and China. In 2014, he began to increase publicity. Call for papers, review of papers, and papers are accepted into IEEE Xplorer. By the year 2015, it was the 24th. It has a long history and has always been IEEE Technical Co-sponsorship. Almost all Chinese communication research, technology and policy personnel have participated in the hosting or invited speeches, including the Nobel Prize Winner of fiber optics. Dr. Gao Wei was the chairman of the conference in 2002. In Taiwan, he was chaired by Prof. Wei Zhehe, chairman of the National Science Council. He was the chairman of the conference held in Taipei in 2004, and President Zhang Jinfu served as the chairman of the conference held in Taichung in 2008. He was chaired by President Yang Hongdun in 2012 in Taichung. President of the General Assembly. For more than two decades, WOCC has expanded into an international conference to promote technology, research, business, and policy exchanges in the three regions, the United States, and other countries and regions in the areas of fiber optics, wireless, network communications, and information services.
