11th IAGG Asia / Oceania Regional Congress 2019 will be held from October 23 to 27, 2019 at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC). Held every four years, this seminar is an important international academic conference on gerontology and geriatrics in Asia. With the support of the organizer Taiwan Gerontology and Geriatrics Association, Taiwan obtained the right to host the conference for the first time. It is expected that about 3,000 domestic and foreign experts and scholars will be present at the scene, which will make this conference an important international geriatrics academic conference in the Asia-Pacific region. It is also expected that Taiwan will become the focus of international attention in one fell swoop.
The theme of this conference is: Health & Wellbeing in the Silver World: From Bench to Policy. It is estimated that more than 500 papers will be collected and 3,000 participants will participate.
