The European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics (EurSafe) was founded in 1999 by the European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics (EurSafe), which has been in the Netherlands since 1999. After Wageningen was successfully held, followed by Copenhagen (2000) in Denmark, Florence (2001) in Italy, Toulouse (2003) in France, Leuven (2004) in Belgium, Oslo (2006) in Norway, and Vienna in Austria (2007), Nottingham, UK (2009), Bilbao, Spain (2010), Tuebingen, Germany (2012), Uppsala, Sweden (2013) and other parts of the world, which are held alternately every one to two years by different countries. The world’s most important international conference with hundreds of experts and scholars from the fields of humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, agriculture and food science, sharing new ethical ideas, knowledge, experience and expertise in the conference; The 3rd International Symposium on Food Ethics in the Asia Pacific Region in 2018 – The Future of Climate Change and Food Challenges (2018 APSafe conference – Climate Change and Food: Challenges for the Future was co-hosted by EurSafe and held in Taiwan in 2018.
The purpose of this conference is to hope to bring civilian’s humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, agricultural and food science-related academic institutions and development achievements to the international level, and to create a learning platform for academic exchanges, professional knowledge and practical operations in the domestic professional fields. It also used this conference to promote the image of Taiwan and promote sightseeing tourism. It also promoted the information of the forum through website links, advertisement exposures, and flyers, in the hope that there will be more domestic scholars and advanced communism. At the same time, we hope that we will invite well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad to conduct practical research and experience sharing and exchanges. We will also show Taiwan’s many years of research in this area of expertise and raise domestic awareness of agriculture and food ethics, and let international experts, the opportunity to understand the fruits of Taiwan’s deep cultivation. The agenda of the conference includes thematic lectures, seminars, and publication of research papers. The agenda of the conference is rich, with a view to expanding the participation of relevant domestic and foreign industry and academia personnel, and multiplying the effectiveness of the international conference in Taiwan.
