詳細內容

At present, the World Poultry Society has a total of 61 chapters. Our branch was established only in 1988, but it is ranked tenth and is a very active club. The other top nine are India, Israel, the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, the Netherlands, and Spain. In addition to these 61 clubs, some clubs formed two alliances. One was the European Union and the other was the Asia-Pacific Alliance. Each of the two alliances holds the Union Poultry Meeting every four years, and it is a regionally important academic meeting.

The highest authority of the World Poultry Society is the General Assembly held every four years. The next is the committee composed of the representatives of the members introduced by each branch to decide on important issues. Because of the large number of members and the large number of members, the club has made decisions for the Association. There is also considerable influence. In June 1998, the Asia-Pacific Alliance held its sixth session in Nagoya, Japan. Thanks to the active performance of our clubs in international academic activities, and with the support of representatives from most Asia Pacific countries, Dr. Huang Huihuang of China was elected as the president of the Asia-Pacific Alliance, which promoted China in this international community.

The 5th World Water Poultry Symposium was held in Vietnam from November 6th to 8th, 2013 by the Vietnam Branch of the World Poultry Society. The organizer specially invited Dr. Huang Zhenfang of the Animal Husbandry Laboratory of the Executive Yuan to attend the meeting and also served as the keynote speaker. In the work conference of the waterfowl team held after the conference, Professor Chen Zhifeng of the National Chung Hsing University took the utmost to fight for all the participants in Taiwan, and won the right to host the Sixth World Waterfowl Congress in 2017. It is hoped that through the Sixth World Waterfowl Symposium, Taiwan will continue to shine on the international stage and promote more opportunities for international cooperation, so that Taiwan’s waterfowl industry will strive for excellence.
