The 18th International Conference on Finite Elements in Flow Problems (FEF 2015) was authorized by the International Association of International Association for Computational Mechanics and was held regularly every two years in different parts of the world. Important International Academic Conference (nearly three sessions: 2013 – San Diego, USA; 2011 – Munich, Germany; 2009 – Tokyo, Japan). Under the coordination and promotion of this non-governmental organization, relevant exchange activities are handled to promote research and exchange of information on fluid mechanics and other research around the world. This conference has become one of the world’s most important international fluid mechanics academic conferences.

The National Tsing-Hua University in the Republic of China for the forty-five year of reunification in Hsinchu, Taiwan, adheres to the motto of “Strive for Self-Reliance, Reliance on Confidence,” and is dedicated to cultivating talented individuals who possess the virtues of intelligence, intelligence, body, mass, and beauty, and who possess scientific and humanistic qualities. Over the years, it has become Taiwan’s foremost talent for talents, talents, and liberal arts. It can be said that it is Taiwan’s innovation technology and academic R&D center and a multi-progressive society promotion base. The Department of Dynamic Mechanical Engineering of the National Tsinghua University has been established for 40 years since its establishment in 1972. It integrates mechanical and electrical machinery in the basic course of the university department. This time, under the hard work and commitment of Director Lin Zhaoan of the Department of Power Machinery Engineering of National Tsinghua University, he successfully won the right to host the 18th International Conference. He hoped to take this opportunity to invite well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad to carry out academic research and experience. Share exchanges and demonstrate Taiwan’s research strengths in fluid mechanics, enhance domestic academic status, and give international experts the opportunity to learn about Taiwan’s efforts in this area.
