The International Congress on Nursing Informatics is initiated by the IMIA-NI SIG. Since its inception in London in 1982, it has become the current international medical information (Medical Informatics). In the most important International Medical Information Association (IMIA) in the field, in addition to its own conference (MedInfo), the most successful and most representative international medical information related conference. The conference was held once every three years and hosted by Asian, U.S., European, and African continents. In 2012, due to the increasing demand for powerful nursing information, it changed from 2012 to once every two years.
The conference was held at the Taipei International Convention Center from June 21 to June 25, 2014. The theme was eSMART+ (eHealth, Simplicity, Mobility/Meaningful use, Advanced leadership, Revolution, Technologies-based, People Leading UCare Safely). : (1) Pre-Conference (Pre-Conference): Three workshops and four tutorials (Tutorials); (2) Conference: Covering Panels Two conference speeches , 3 keynote speeches, and paper abstract submissions from a total of 29 countries, a total of 290 submission papers summary, a total of 259 admissions. A total of 69 hair sheets were presented in this conference, 159 papers were displayed in a poster display, 4 Tutorials, 3 Workshops, and 20 Panel Discussions; (3) Post-Conference: Evergreen Phoenix, Jiaoxi The hotel organises a three-day, two-night expert think tank meeting to discuss the future trends of Mobile Health. In addition to the relevant manufacturer’s exhibitions, a total of nine domestic award-winning medical hospitals of the Smart Hospital in China were also invited to jointly display each of the nursing information feature systems to allow the domestic and foreign guests to witness the soft power of Taiwan’s nursing information system development. During the conference, two dinners were arranged. The conference traveled to the Forbidden City to visit and combined with the resources of the North District hospitals to plan the visits of eight hospitals and health villages.
In order to demonstrate the advanced information industry in Taiwan, the QR registration system was also introduced into the QR Code. In response to the promotion of the Green Convention and Exhibition by the Bureau of International Trade, participants were encouraged to take public transport and provide MRT cards as a gift for the conference. The dinner guided participants to take the MRT. At the end, it was disbanded near the bustling MRT station business district, allowing participants to go sightseeing and shopping, and take the MRT back to the hotel. The number of domestic participants in the conference was 237, and the number of foreign participants was 261; a total of 28 countries and 498 people were present. The General Assembly is also not sharing resources and assisting schools and related units in various regions of the province to invite experts to give speeches.
