The 5th Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Medical Association Academic Conference 2012 was authorized by Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Association (APHRS) and is a large-scale international conference held regularly in the Asia-Pacific region every year. From October 3rd to October 6th, 2012 Taipei International The conference center and Grand Hyatt Taipei held 525 domestic participants and 1,696 foreign participants, with a total of 40 countries and 2,221 participants. The number of papers in this paper was 729 in 22 countries. The papers were displayed in the form of oral presentations and posters. There were 25 booths for 25 exhibitors at the exhibition.
The Asia Pacific Conference was jointly held for the first time with the World Heart Rhythm Association and the European Heart Rhythm Society. 476 speakers from 30 countries were invited. The 4-day agenda totaled more than 164 sessions, including two live demonstrations and the first one held in Taiwan. Hand On Tutor Session, the conference room covering the Taipei International Convention Center and Grand Hyatt Taipei, is one of the largest international conferences in Taiwan.
The event involved about 2,200 participants from 40 countries around the world, of which the proportion of foreign participants was as high as 76%, which was the largest number of foreign participants ever, and the number of foreign submissions was as high as twice that of previous years. The conference has a considerable scale and a high degree of internationalization. In addition, the performance of this conference at the level of marketing, preparation and implementation has a professional standard and has made outstanding contributions to both the exhibition industry and the medical field in China.
