The 16th Asian Regional Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, 16ARC was officially held at the Taipei International Convention Center on October 14. An international conference in Asia organized by the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). This conference is sponsored by the Society of Geotechnical Engineering authorized by ISSMGE. More than 1,000 international experts and scholars from about 45 countries attended the conference as the largest geotechnical-related conference held in Taiwan in recent years.
