After the "WSSD Plan of Implementation" and "Johannesburg Declaration on Sustainable Development" announced, countries around the world all dedicated in researching and developing the sustainable development issues. Asia, a place with booming economic development, crowded population and lots of natural disasters but short of nature resources, will be more urgent than other regions to pursue the sustainable development. For showing the achievement of every country and company, an "International Exhibition for Sustainable Development Technologies" will be held on 26 to 27 June, 2007 at Taipei International Convention Center. This exhibition will provide the platform for the exchange of sustainable development technologies among participants and visitors from the world.

ACECC, Asian Civil Engineering Coordinating Council, was established in 1999 by 8 Asia Civil Engineering Societies, namely ASCE, CICHE, EA, JSCE, KSCE, MACE, PICE and VIFCEA. 4th CECAR which is held by ACECC will be one of the largest international civil engineering conferences in the world. It is projected that around 1,200 important people shall be representing the government, academic, and industrial sectors of the different Asian nations; hence, construction material manufacturers and other construction related businesses intending to take part in international exchanges, to enhance the international visibility of their companies, and to expand their overseas market should not miss this rare opportunity.

The exhibition mainly revolves around sustainable development issues and will adapt the same themes as the 4th CECAR. Details of the exhibition are as follows:
